Our team understands that for most people, the loss of a tooth is a traumatic experience. It can have a profound effect on their appearance and the way they chew. It can also result in localised gum and jawbone shrinkage. This can change the shape of your face and give the appearance of premature ageing.
The good news is that recent advancements in dental implants make it relatively simple for us to resolve this for you. Via the insertion of small titanium screws into your jawbone, we can attach new teeth to them that will look great and give you many decades of function.
Dental implants can be completed with a small surgical procedure. It will leave you in minimal discomfort, even the day right after the procedure. Dr Aden Tran and Dr AJ Ambikairajah have extensive training and years of experience in the field, so you can have complete confidence in your treatment with them.

The Process
Getting dental implants is a process that needs a number of visits over a few months. Whilst it is a moderately lengthy process, we’re almost certain it’s one you won’t regret.
- The first step consists of taking digital impressions of your jaw and teeth. This assists us in assessing the spacing available in your bone and gum tissue for your implant.
- The next step sees the surgical insertion of your implant (titanium screw).
- After a period of 3-4 months healing, the implant crown gets created and attached to the implant.
- Your new, natural-looking tooth is complete!
After Care
Once your treatment is complete you will receive your specific aftercare instructions. But, like your natural teeth, you will prolong the life of your dental implant with good dental hygiene and diet habits. And of course, regular check-ups are needed to ensure you are maintaining great oral health.
